Small two-story brick building, cross-gabled, decorative woodwork around eaves of roof. Small bell tower in front. Handwritten on front: "Franklin School." Handwritten on back: "Franklin School, on Seventh bet. Locust and Pine Sts., about 1881, built 1865-66."
