Description:
Brick building viewed at an angle across unpaved intersection. Barrels, pallets, and cart along front. Utility pole and lamppost on corner. Handwritten on mat back: "N.W. cor. Griswold & Woodbridge, about 1881. In the fall of 1859 the Free Press moved to the northwest corner of Griswold & Woodbridge St. In 1861 W. E. Quinby became one of the editors and two years later purchased a quarter interest." Mat marked, corner torn.
