Machine gun-carrying biplane on shore of Lake Saint Clair. Handwritten on stock back: "Ready for its tests on the ice of Lake St. Clair. Dan McGee was to pilot this test and on the first flight he lost his head and landed it in the water instead of the ice wrecking the machine completely Jan. 1917. From the Corwin Van Husan scrapbook."
