View of students participating in a parade for the University of Michigan Triennial County Fair in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Students, costumed in overalls and wide-brimmed hats, pose with bugles, trombone and drums. Young man wearing horse costume on left. Clown on horseback, float with animal cage, judges' stand and spectators in background. These fairs were held every three years by the Michigan Union, a male-only organization, although fifty different student organizations participated. Funds raised were intended to construct a clubhouse for the Union.
