Bats: right. Throws: right. Had a 1-7 record in 30 games in 1949. Began in organized baseball with Butler, Pennsylvania League, in 1941-42. Came to the Yankees from Newark, International League, in 1947. Back with Newark in 1948. Recalled by Yankees and sent to the Browns in fall of that year. Dick spent 3 years in military service.
