Letter to baseball player Ty Cobb from W.R. Armour. Printed on front: "Detroit, Mich., Aug. 25th, 1905. Mr. Cobb, c/o August [sic] Ball Club, Augusta, Ga. We bought your release for five hundred dollars. We are giving Augusta two hundred additional to have your report at once. They pay your transportation to Detroit, and we will furnish your transportation back home at the close of the season. W.R. Armour."
