Label on back: "This triangle building is at the southeast corner of Cass and Grand River avenues. Occupied for many years by the S. & M. shoe store. In the distance looms the Book Tower building. The low buildings in right foreground were demolished in November 1926. Beyond them is the Lincoln Building, once the factory of Brown Brothers, cigar manufacturers."
