After tramping all over the round looking at the balloons, air ships, side shows, races, horses, cattle, sheep, hogs, chickens, etc. we started for the main building and here find the Valpey Shoe Company exhibit. The most interesting at the Fair! The many new Fall styles in footwear the Valpey Shoe Company of Detroit is showing is marvelous and the lady changing her shoes every two minutes is an artist. Be sure you see this exhibit when you come to the fair. It is worth the admission of the whole show. Yours." Handwritten on back in upper right corner: "9/5/08."
