Description:
View at an angle of Harper Hospital; Gothic style brick building has central tower over entrance. Man stands in semicircular driveway. Printed on front: "Harper Hospital, Detroit, Mich." Printed on back: "Harper Hospital. John R Street, head of Martin Place, is one of the oldest and best known hospitals in the city. It has accommodations for 200 patients, is conducted by a board of trustees and is self-supporting." Handwritten on back: "Saturday, Sept. '10. Received the letters and cards yesterday and have answered them. I went to the Ladies Aid Society for supper Thursday night the reason you could not get me by phone. Mary Putnam, Fowlerville, Mich." Card is postmarked September 10, 1910.
