View of brothers Louis and Temple Abernathy with a Brush car on rural road. In 1910, Louis and Temple Abernathy, ages 9 and 6, drove a Brush car from New York to Oklahoma City. They were accompanied by their father, Jack, and other motorists. Banner on car reads: "This car is being driven from New York to Oklahoma City, Okla. by the Abernathy kids, who rode their bronchos from Oklahoma City to New York [to meet] Roosevelt." Two men stand in road. Stamped on back: "Spooner & Wells, Inc., photographers, telephones 3472-3473 Columbus, 1931 Broadway, New York." Handwritten on back: "Brush, 1910. Model 10. Abernathy boys."
