Duryea engine, purchased from the Duryea Power Co., Reading, Pa., in 1900. This engine was first used by Mr. Berlo in a tandem motor-cycle, and later in a 20' launch." Stamped on back: "M.J. Duryea, 17 Farmington Avenue, Longmeadow, Mass." Typed on back: "Subject: Automobiles--Berlo. Collection: MS3/Charles E. Duryea Collection. Date: c. 1901. Source: Estate of Charles E. & M.
