Label on back: "Hudson Motor Car Co., Detroit, Mich. How B-29 wires are numbered. Ingenious numbering machines stamp a number every few inches on wires the Hudson Motor Car Co. uses in the wire harnesses it makes for three important fuselage sections it builds for the Boeing B-29 Superfortress. The number at the right is the gauge of the wire, while the number at the left and the letter indicate [sic] where the wire will be used. This allows fast repairs to be made after battle damage." Stamped on back: "Released for immediate use by Hudson Motor Car Company, Public Relations Division, 12601 East Jefferson Avenue, Detroit 14, Michigan. Where required, release has been received from proper authority in Army or Navy Public Relations." Handwritten on back: "Women workers."
