Description:
View of the De Garmo Jones residence on Fort St. Automobiles parked in street; "Rooms" sign is displayed in front of building. Label on back [in part]: "Home of De Garmo Jones, built in 1851 at 250 Fort Street West, old numbering. The house was set in the middle of the block, geographical center bounded by Fort & Lafayette, Fourth & Fifth. In later years it was moved close to the Fort Street side and the large yard was cut up into city lots and sold by Mrs. C.H. Jones, widow of De Garmo. Mr. Jones was owner of the Jones Farm, adjoining the Cass Farm on the west." Handwritten on back: "Built by Hugh Moffat. Jones, De Garmo, Fort St., old number 250, new 930."
