It was alleged that Lacroix was responsible for the death of A.W. Wallace of Bridgeport, Connecticut. Stamped on back: "Spooner & Wells, Inc., photographers, telephones 3472-3473 Columbus, 1931 Broadway, New York." Handwritten on back: "Arrest of Paul Lecroix [sic] and wife at New Haven. Tours--New York to Boston Endurance Run, 1909."
