Front view of a man operating a Sargent Clertrac Model A hydraulic snowplow at Wolf Creek Pass in the Colorado Rockies. The snowplows were manufactured by the Maine Steel Products Co. in South Portland, Maine. Printed on front: "View #4. Still on top of 15' of snow. Winging a higher side bank. The length of the Sargent Wing made it possible to roll this bank clear over the precipice where it fell far below into the waters of Wolf Creek. This not only saved the cost of handling the snow again but cut down re-drifting in later storms."
