Front view of a man operating a Sargent Clertrac Model A hydraulic snowplow at Wolf Creek Pass in the Colorado Rockies. The snowplows were manufactured by the Maine Steel Products Co. in South Portland, Maine. Printed on front: "View #11. The plow started ahead in the middle of the road, rolled part of the snow over the precipice and the balance up against the cliff -- it kept on piling it up against the cliff until the pile was 10' high or more -- high enough to be top heavy."
