Fox & Co., Ford dealers, at 156 East Milwaukee Ave., Detroit, taken winter of 1916-17. This is now #434 E. Milwaukee. Left to right: first two are not known. Matthews, a salesman, has pipe, next is Baker, a clerk, next, I think, is Klein, a salesman, then Donald D. Horton, a salesman, then Maurice W. Fox, who incorporated Maurice W. Fox and Co. about that time. Next is Hixson, a mechanic. Man in rear is not known. Tall man with derby is salesman Harry E. Fearl, and in front of Fearl, wearing cap, is Howard Harvey, of an old Detroit family. Maurice W. Fox. Howard Harvey is now (Dec. 29, 1949) said to be living on Grosse Ile. Perhaps his organization was called the 'Business Pioneers.' M.W.F."
