Dear folks, am staying here tonight and expect to make Nebraska tomorrow. We drove 300 miles today since 5:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Had two punctures and poorer roads today, but still cool weather. This is sure some barren country with towns far apart. Hoping your are all O.K. Ting." Card is postmarked August 5, 1927.
