View of a Chadwick car, with newspaper clipping from the Globe newspaper. Printed on front: "New York, Saturday, June 14. A rather severe test of Traction Tread tires was made on Thursday of this week. A 40-45 horsepower Chadwick car was fitted with these tires in Philadelphia, the tires being put on without lugs. After half the distance to New York had been covered the wind was let out of one of the tires, and the trip finished on the flat shoe. On arrival in the city it was found that neither the rim nor the shoe was injured in the least, and none of the tires gave any trouble at all, despite the absence of lugs." Stamped on back: "Spooner & Wells, Inc., photographers, telephones 3472-3473 Columbus, 1931 Broadway, New York."
