Label on back: "The new body-building operation installed in DeSoto's Warren Avenue plant contains nearly 8 miles of conveyors. This section of the plant is known as 'Grand Central Station.' Here the bodies automatically weave and criss-cross on a bewildering maze of conveyors, all without any apparent human direction. Bodies on the conveyors are carried either through the air or along the floor, whichever best suits a particular operation. Perfect synchronization of the upper and lower conveyors permits the transfer of bodies from one to the other without human effort." Handwritten on back: "Factories--DeSoto."
