Label on back: "Men and women of GMC Truck & Coach Division of General Motors join in celebrating the production of the final six wheel drive military truck to roll off the assembly lines. GMC started building military trucks in war-time volume in May 1939. During the period of the war nearly 600,000 military vehicles of various types were produced. Often referred to as 'the workhorse of the Army,' the famous 2-1/2 ton 'six-by-six' accounted for more than half a million of the total. All military production has now stopped at GMC Truck & Coach, the last amphibious 'Duck' having been shipped from the factories in Pontiac on August 30."
