Label on back: "Performing many operations formerly assigned to men, women are helping to solve the manpower shortage in the production of aircraft engines. This girl is removing excess stock with a burring tool from parts which flow from her work bench for assembly in Pratt & Whitney aircraft engines produced in ever-mounting volume by Chevrolet for bombers and cargo planes. By dividing operations into simple components, Chevrolet has been able to utilize many female workers in the plants producting aircraft engines." Stamped on back: "General Motors Photographic."
