Label on back: "In each Boeing Flying Fortress are 70 different ducts, all of which are made by the Briggs Manufacturing Company, the first automobile parts company in America to reach volume production of aircraft parts. Welding and riveting are used extensively in these operations, but due to improvements in manufacture brought about by Briggs, the number of rivets has been decreased from 8,000 to 6,000 with consequent saving in time and money. Other airplane parts made by Briggs include Douglas and Sikorsky outer wings and Boeing flaps and bomb doors. (175). Briggs Manufacturing Company, Detroit, Michigan."
