View of cars in parade traveling through Prospect Park in Brooklyn during the 1906 second annual excursion for orphans sponsored by the New York Motor Club. 1,200 children were taken on a trip to the Dreamland amusement park at Coney Island. Stamped on back: "Photo by F. Ed. Spooner, 1536 B'way, telephone 6536-38th St., New York, N.Y." Handwritten on back: "In the dust through Prospect Park, Brooklyn. Orphan's parade, 1906. Tours--New York Orphans Day outing, 1906."
