Contestants traveled on routes through Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio and Michigan. Sign on truck in rear reads: "Buick, official baggage truck, Chicago Evening American." Stamped on back: "Spooner & Wells, Inc., photographers, 1231 Woodward Ave., Detroit, Mich., telephone North 1745." Handwritten on back: "Tours--Chicago Reliability Run, 1911."
