View of Overland car on roadside during the 1910 New York to San Francisco tour. Woman motorist, either Blanche Stuart Phillips or Gertrude or Amy Phillips, on right. The promotional cross-country tour was sponsored by the Willys-Overland Company. Stamped on back: "Spooner & Wells, Inc., photographers, telephone North 1745. 1231 Woodward Ave., Detroit, Mich. Detroit, 1231 Woodward, New York, 1931 Broadway." Handwritten on back: "Tours--New York to San Francisco, 1910."
