Child sitting on porch of story and a half wooden house partially obscured by bushes. Glass negative ledger says: "S.P. Labadie house built 1780 on River St. at foot of 24th St., razed to make room for the gas tank in 1910." Also have print from negative. Handwritten on albumen print back: "Labadie house on Porter farm, 1891." Stamped on back of print: "Earle, photographer, 253 Woodward Ave., Detroit, Mich." Recorded in glass negative ledger: "D/Historic houses-Labadie, S.P."
