View of brick shed formerly located at 58 Bagley Avenue, in Detroit, now located at Greenfield Village in Dearborn, Michigan. Henry Ford assembled the quadricycle in this workshop in 1896. Printed on front: "259 Bagley Avenue, birthplace of the Ford car, Greenfield Village, Dearborn, Michigan. Pub. by United News Co., Detroit, Mich. Made in U.S.A." Printed on back: "In this brick shed at the rear of 58 Bagley Avenue, Mr. Ford carried on some of his early automobile experiments while employed as an engineer at the Edison Illuminating Company. Three lathes, drill presses, and hand tools are those used in building the first car. The right hand door had to be torn out and made larger because Mr. Ford forgot to measure the door when he built the car inside. United News Co., 24 West Jefferson Avenue, Detroit, Mich.
