The park is situated in the eastern part of the city between Detroit River and Jefferson Avenue and contains about 75 acres of floral gardening, lakes and canals. It is reached by Jefferson Avenue cars going east. Published by Wolverine News Co., Detroit, Mich. Made in U.S.A." Handwritten on back: "We are going out on the farm this eve to pick blackberries tomorrow. Dear Bro and Sister, we arrived here safe and sound and are having a good time. We are at Louisa's now was to Guntzvillers yesterday they are all well out here. Ella is here and Mr. Guntzviller. So good bye from Ida Ligibel." Card is postmarked July 17, 1911.
