Sign on float reads: "Old King Cole was a merry old soul." Stamped on back: "Spencer & Wyckoff, photographers, Detroit." Handwritten on back: "Old King Cole." Typed on sheet: "(F) Old King Cole was a merry old soul. In taking this picture a lot of the characters climbed on the float to 'get their picture took.'"
