View of students posing in costumes consisting of loose robes and headdresses, during the University of Michigan Triennial County Fair in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Men and boys pose outdoors among trees; one man stands atop a wooden cart. These fairs were held every three years by the Michigan Union, a male-only organization, although fifty different student organizations participated. Funds raised were intended to construct a clubhouse for the Union.
