Several banners are displayed from balcony and on walls reading "This way to the elevator, 'Dip the dip," "The Hamburg show, without," "Fearless Frida, the tiger tantalizer," "5 [cents], Bosco's jungle, Mala in her cave, Chinese baby hippo, horned horse captured by Corean canibals [sic], mysterious mermaid, sleeping crocodile, 40 live wild animals, wonderful wild won kifi mad." These fairs were held every three years by the Michigan Union, a male-only organization, although fifty different student organizations participated. Funds raised were intended to construct a clubhouse for the Union. Printed on front: "Dip the dip, County Fair, '08, Lyndon."
