Description
View of students, members of the Rocky Mountain Club, posing in a clubhouse during the University of Michigan Triennial County Fair in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Young men gather around bar and countertops; one man sits in a chair, holding a bottle. Hand-lettered signs read: "No shooting allowed" and "No wiskey [sic] sold to tenderfeet." Wall hangings cover windows and rear wall. These fairs were held every three years by the Michigan Union, a male-only organization, although fifty different student organizations participated. Funds raised were intended to construct a clubhouse for the Union. Printed on front: "R.M.C. at County Fair, '08, Lyndon."
