Dec. 21st, 1919. Dear Aunt, Your card recd a few days ago. We were very glad to see you getting strong enough to write. We are hoping your recovery will be complete soon now. We are looking for Elsie home tomorrow. Howard came when the coal strike was on. He is working in the woods near enough to board at home but the job won't last all winter. Bob is working at the same place. We have been having some very cold weather for the time of year. Was reported 20 below at Roscommon. I will close hoping you are still improving. Yours, Emory." Card is postmarked December 2, 1919.
