On this trip the Oakland Six combined six record breaking performances into one outstanding endurance, reliability and time performance, traveling 730 miles in 30 hours and 42 minutes with a perfect record. On this trip the hood and radiator were sealed and the six highest summits of the Sierra Nevadas were crossed, and the car climbed a total of 30,990 feet. it was one of the most exacting tests ever demanded of a motor car, and emphasizes the safety driving features of the Oakland Six four-wheel brakes and sturdy construction.
