Dear Sister and family, how are you all this fine day isn't this beautiful weather. If we only well and right so we could enjoy it as we ought. I suppose you had a nice visit am so glad Elma went. Fanny Bixler Long and family made me a short visit on Mon. they said they were sorry they could not stay all night. She said had she known that you two were in Durand she would have called you up by phone and Durand is their central and she would have had you come here too. Call her up. We will tell you about Lewis Croops' son being so sick with typhoid. I have been very sick. Am just able to get about and do what really needs doing. Hudson is still grading. Are you going to the pioneer pic, we are not. Well write me all the news. I am soon coming out. Love in abundance to those. Thanks for the beautiful card."
