Printed on back: "Ames Monument. Ames Monument stands southwest of Lincoln Highway about thirty miles west of Cheyenne. It is a pyramid of natural granite 60 feet high. It is erected to the memory of Oakes and Oliver Ames whose financial backing made possible the extensions of the Union Pacific Railroad to span the continent. Published by Sanborn Souvenir Co., Denver, Colo. CT Co., Chicago."
