View of W.O. Westgard and motorists posing with Flanders electric car at the entrance to Mammoth Cave in Kentucky during the pathfinding expedition for the 1912 Glidden Tour. The pathfinding tour covered a route from Detroit, Michigan to New Orleans, Louisiana, but the 1912 Glidden Tour was canceled. Stamped on back: "Spooner & Wells, Inc., photographers, 1231 Woodward Ave., Detroit, Mich., telephone North 1745." Handwritten on back: "Pathfinder at Mammoth Cave, 1912."
