View of W.O. Westgard and Charles Ross with Flanders electric car on roadside during the pathfinding expedition for the 1912 Glidden Tour. The pathfinding tour covered a route from Detroit, Michigan to New Orleans, Louisiana, but the 1912 Glidden Tour was canceled. Stamped on back: "Spooner & Wells, Inc., photographers, 1231 Woodward Ave., Detroit, Mich., telephone North 1745." Handwritten on back: "Mr. Westgard of Flanders. Pathfinder finds a shady spot to make service notes."
