View of Flanders electric car traveling in valley of Big Bigby Creek in Tennessee during the pathfinding expedition for the 1912 Glidden Tour. The pathfinding tour covered a route from Detroit, Michigan to New Orleans, Louisiana, but the 1912 Glidden Tour was canceled. Stamped on back: "Spooner & Wells, Inc., photographers, 1231 Woodward Ave., Detroit, Mich., telephone North 1745." Handwritten on back: "Pathfinder in valley of Big Bigbee [sic] Creek, Tenn., 1912."
