View of Flanders electric car passing men with team of oxen on rural road, during the pathfinding expedition for the 1912 Glidden Tour. The pathfinding tour covered a route from Detroit, Michigan to New Orleans, Louisiana, but the 1912 Glidden Tour was canceled. Stamped on back: "Spooner & Wells, Inc., photographers, 1231 Woodward Ave., Detroit, Mich., telephone North 1745." Handwritten on back: "Pathfinder meeting oxen on its trip, 1912. Stuck on road to cave."
