View of crowd on beach watching the Cleveland car after an accident during the 1908 Ormond-Daytona races in Florida. The previous night, R.G. Kelsey drove the car into a shipwreck on the beach; the car was dug out of the sand at low tide the following day. Stamped on back: "Photo by N. Lazarnick, 29 West 42nd Street, N.Y., tel. 594 Bryant." Handwritten on back: "Crowd around Cleveland car in surf. Races and racing--Ormond-Daytona, 1908."
