View of a 1914 Imp cyclecar. Label on back: "Imp cyclecar. Built by the W.H. McIntyre Co., Auburn, Indiana. Year 1913. Mr. McIntyre introduced the cyclecar in America. The public in general would not accept the cyclecar therefore only a limited number were built and soon it became the 'forgotten vehicle.' Specifications: 2 cylinder air cooled engine 12 h.p. Friction drive, 4 speeds forward, 1 reverse. Frame construction, light-weight wood. Body, sheet metal over wood frame-work. No axles, independent wheel suspension. Seats 2 passengers. Wheel-base, 100 inches. Tread, 36 inches. Tires, 28 x 2 1/2 clincher. Weight, 600 lbs. Original price, $375.00. Top, horn and lights extra. This rare vehicle runs on its own power. Owned by R.F. Clouse, Auburn, Indiana."
