View of Samuel Butler, referee Walker and his wife posing in Cunningham car during the 1911 Glidden Tour. Chairman Samuel M. Butler was later killed in the crash involving this car. Stamped on back: "Spooner & Wells, Inc., photographers, telephones 3472-3473 Columbus, 1931 Broadway, New York." Handwritten on back: "Cunningham car that turned over and killed Mr. Samuel Butler and injured referee Walker and wife. All are seated in car. Cunningham, ca. 1911."
