View of a man working in the aseptic room at Parke, Davis & Co. Label on back: "Aseptic room for filtration of antitoxins, the grinding of vaccine, etc. Filtering antitoxin through sterilized filters with compressed air. The serum passed directly from the filter through the sterilized tube into the sterilized bottle, without having come in contact with other than filtered air. The apparatus in the posterior part of the room is a vacuum dryer for the preparation of dry serums, etc. Vaccine grinder to the right on table." Stamped on back: "A. Godfrey & Co.
