Dear Louise, Your card recd last night and real pleased to get it. Glad you are all well and that Thelma is so good. I am real well. Mother is sick abed has been for a couple of days but is some better today. Gee everything looks just grand up here since we had a nice rain. Mr. B. came last night had a fine time he has a couple of dandy horses. I drove one this morning and will have the other one this afternoon. I am now at the store. Good by, dear. Write often, as ever, your loving husband, Ross." Card is postmarked May 28, 1909.
