Your loving letter rec'd tonight and many thanks finds us all well and I hope this will find you all the same. It snowed a little today and is lots colder tonight. But moonlight wonder who I am thinking of ha ha. Come have a ride with me the arc lights are all right now so we can see where we drive this road over the bridge is just one block east of the one we drove over that night and if you will look at the x down by the river you can almost see the elephant ha ha he is there yet and had some snow on his back this morning the river is full of ducks. They look awful pretty they are wild ones to [sic]. Good by, love to all, as ever, your loving old Heinie. Guess my heart talked to [sic] loud that was the reason I could not say much. Your card was all right see I leave to hold my heart where ever you call me up ha ha." Card is postmarked February 15, 1908.
