Marie, Mich. C.T. American Art Colored. CT Co., Chicago." Handwritten on back: "Dearest Mary, Was too tired to phone Etta, as I did not know how long it would take to reach Soo. Day was grand. Caught the boat at once and slept in car all the way over. Had dinner 1 p.m. at [undecipherable]. Love, [undecipherable]." Card is postmarked September 4, 1938.
