The Japanese arch or 'torri' [sic] shown in this picture was brought from Japan, in sections, by the Hon. Chase S. Osborn, who presented it to the city of Sault Ste. Marie. It was placed at the entrance to the Government Park, as being the most suitable location. The main entrance of the Park Hotel, is shown through the arch, with the omnibuses delivering their passengers at the door. Published by Young, Lord & Rhoades. Made in U.S.A." Handwritten on back: "Here we are for a couple of days. Having the time of our life. Margaret." Card is postmarked August 30, 1910.
