Handwritten on back: "Aug 7, 1910. Dear [undecipherable] as it is nearing your birth day I will drop this sample little token. Mother. Hope you both are all well we are not so very well [undecipherable] poorly [undecipherable] is ded [sic] an old neighbor gon [sic] where we all soon shall bee [sic]. I have known her [undecipherable] years a good neighbor [undecipherable] Tuesday afternoon."
